Wild garlic dumplings with parmesan and brown butter

Today I want to share with you a great recipe for wild garlic dumplings that you should definitely try! These delicious dumplings are easy to make and are a perfect side dish to a variety of dishes or can be served as a main course. Either way, they are a real treat.

The best thing about this recipe is that I used fresh wild garlic, of course, which is in season right now and therefore particularly aromatic and delicious. So get gathering and get going!

Ingredients

 

200 g bread crumbs glutenfree

180 ml milk

200 g wild garlic

1 onion

2 cloves of garlic

1 tbsp butter

2 eggs

80 g grated cheese

2 tbsp flour

Salt

Pepper

grated nutmeg

brown butter

Parmesan

 

Preparation

 

  1. Peel the onion and the garlic and chop them into small pieces.
  2. Heat the butter and sauté the onion and garlic pieces in it.
  3. Chop the wild garlic into small pieces.
  4. Put the wild garlic, the bread crumbs, the onion and garlic, the grated cheese, the flour and eggs in a bowl.
  5. Heat the milk lukewarm and add to the other ingredients.
  6. Season with Salt, pepper, nutmeg.
  7. Form dumplings with wet hands.
  8. Let the dumpling rest for about 10 minutes.
  9. Cook the dumplings in boiling salted water for about 12 minutes.

 

TIP

 

Serve the dumplings with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and finely chopped fresh wild garlic.
