3 egg whites
200 g of sugar
1 packet vanilla sugar
125 g couverture (grated or chopped)
250 g walnuts (grated or chopped)
- Beat the egg whites firmly. As soon as the egg white has turned white, gradually add the sugar and beat together to form a firm snow.
- Mix the nuts and chocolate and fold into the snow mixture.
- Fill the batter into a piping bag with a large nozzle and pipe biscuits of even size onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Alternatively, you can use a small spoon to make heaps.
- Bake the widow’s kisses in an oven preheated to 150 °C for approx. 25 minutes.
