Widow’s kisses

Ingredients

 

3 egg whites

200 g of sugar

1 packet vanilla sugar

125 g couverture (grated or chopped)

250 g walnuts (grated or chopped)

 

Preparation

 

  1. Beat the egg whites firmly. As soon as the egg white has turned white, gradually add the sugar and beat together to form a firm snow.
  2. Mix the nuts and chocolate and fold into the snow mixture.
  3. Fill the batter into a piping bag with a large nozzle and pipe biscuits of even size onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Alternatively, you can use a small spoon to make heaps.
  4. Bake the widow’s kisses in an oven preheated to 150 °C for approx. 25 minutes.
