Roasted green asparagus is a delicious and healthy side dish that can be served as an appetizer or as an accompaniment to main dishes. Green asparagus is in season from February to June. Originally from the Mediterranean region, green asparagus is now popular all over the world. It has a milder flavour than its white relative and is also quicker to prepare. In many restaurants, roasted green asparagus is served as a side dish with fish or meat dishes, but it can also be used as a main course with a dip or as an ingredient in salads. With this simple recipe you can prepare a delicious side dish in no time.
