Puff pastry strudel pizza style
This recipe is the perfect blend of crispy puff pastry and the delicious flavours of a classic pizza.
This strudel combines hearty slices of salami, juicy tomatoes and spicy. The puff pastry encases these delicious ingredients and becomes deliciously crispy as it bakes. The best thing is that you can prepare these pizza strudels in no time at all – they are ideal for cosy evenings or when hunger suddenly knocks.
Whether you serve them as a snack, starter or main course, these pizza swirls are a real treat. So grab your puff pastry, salami, tomatoes and cheese, and let’s whip up these delicious swirls together. You’ll be surprised how easy and delicious this strudel is.

Ingredients
1 puff pastry
2 tomatoes or canned chopped tomatoes
200 g salami, cut into small pieces
approx. 50 g grated cheese
1 hard-boiled egg
1 egg yolk or some milk
some sesame seeds
My tip: Serve with dip – Asia style
Preparation
- Roll out the puff pastry.
- Cut a 1/3 of the puff pastry into strips of approx. 1.5 cm.
- Place the diced tomatoes on the part that has not been cut.
- Place the finely chopped salami on top.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- Top with the boiled, finely chopped egg.
- Roll up or close the uncut dough.
- Twist in the dough strips.
- Twist the strips of dough and place them over the strudel.
- Brush with egg yolk or milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
- Serve with our dip – Asia style.
