Penne with wild garlic pesto

When it comes to Italian cuisine, there’s nothing better than a good portion of penne with homemade pesto. But this recipe has a special touch, because the pesto is made with fresh wild garlic, which I personally searched for and harvested in the woods. The combination of the intense flavours of the wild garlic and the nutty texture of the pesto gives the penne a unique flavour. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

fresh wild garlic

daisies as decoration




  1. Prepare the penne according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. In the meantime, heat some olive oil in a pan and toss the penne briefly in it.
  3. Add the wild garlic pesto and stir well.
  4. Serve the penne, garnish with fresh parmesan, wild garlic and daisies.
