Cauliflower puree

Looking for a delicious ketogenic alternative to mashed potatoes? Try this recipe for my cauliflower puree! Cauliflower, also still known as cauliflower (especially in Austria and southern Germany), or as cheese cabbage (in some parts of Germany), is one of my favourite vegetables for a reason. It’s a healthy and nutrient-rich option that also tastes delicious. Cauliflower is rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals while containing very few carbohydrates, making it a perfect choice for the ketogenic diet. Try this recipe and enjoy the creamy texture and delicate flavour of cauliflower.

Ingredients

 

300 g cauliflower

90 g cream cheese, double cream

15 g butter

salt, pepper, nutmeg

 

Preparation

 

  1. Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for approx. 10-15 minutes.
  2. Puree the cauliflower. I use my Thermomix for this, but of course a hand blender is also good.
  3. Then I add cream cheese, butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg in a saucepan over low heat.
